Work on DataXray
DataXray is built by Ohalo, a UK-founded company with teams in London, Atlanta and Calgary. We build software that reads, classifies and governs unstructured data for government, defense, financial services and other regulated organizations. Open roles are listed on our Workable board; if nothing fits today, you can still tell us what you would bring.
Open roles
All current openings are listed on our Workable page, and every application goes through it so we can respond to everyone. If you do not see a role that fits, the section below explains how to reach us anyway.

What the work is like
DataXray runs inside customer environments, including air-gapped enclaves, on estates that reach hundreds of millions of files. The engineering problems are concrete: reading more than 1,000 file types, classifying content precisely enough to act on it, and doing that at around 1,200 files per minute without leaving the customer's boundary. The product problems are equally concrete: helping records managers, FOIA officers, security teams and data scientists get governed data in front of the people and models that need it.
How we work
These five principles describe the team you would join. They are how we make decisions, how we review work and how we treat customers, and we hire for them as deliberately as for skills.
- Customer success drives everythingOur success is tied to our customers' success.
- Empower great people to do great workWe hire exceptional people and give them the autonomy to act.
- Openness builds stronger teamsWe share knowledge, decisions and challenges transparently.
- Think long-term, act with purposeWe build for lasting impact rather than short-term wins.
- Speed mattersWe prioritize action and deliver high-quality outcomes quickly.
